It is the windy season out west. The wind blew from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon, while I froze my *** there for three days. To Hilltop Campground, AZ even worse wind. even with a 700+ lb bike I was blown around a lot. Oh, and don't wear a warm jacket under your riding gear if it has a hood, I almost garroted myself in the wind. On the way home, as I came into the Kingman, AZ area it started to warm up, by the time I got to the Vegas area I was opening my jacket vents...bad idea. The coat bloated up like a puffer fish and tried to take my helmet off as the wind went through the jacket. And the rain in Jerome. AZ..trying to put up a tarp in a pouring rain and wind. I now have a wet cat look..pissed off. lol. Mather Campground at the Grand Canyon; Hilltop Campground, AZ; on the way to Jerome, AZ and the wet cat look. roflmao Oh and the last one is from when the herd of bugs decided to hit me all at once, the face shield is just as bad. For about an hour and a half I rode looking through the bugs. About summed up the whole trip.
